Finished: April 2018
A classic story involving an “un-fixable” truck. More like improperly LS Swapped nightmare. Two of these red, LS Swapped, ‘89 Stepsides came in, at the same time, this happens a lot at BCI, so we decided to name them Thing 1, and Thing 2 . Aptly named “Thing 1” was brought to Bad Company Inc to resolve issues spanning from incorrectly welded in motor mount, to the thing just not making enough power.
“Thing 1” was on the recieving end of a few eye-catching upgrades. Coil packs, relocated to the firewall behind the engine, custom stainless headers, flowing back to 2.5 inch stainless exhaust with Borla mufflers. Relocated PCM, and custom intake airbox designed and built by Austin Hodges and Bad Company Inc, with graphics by JAX.
